I moved into Sycamore Farms and the state of the apartment was disgusting. The entire apartment was dirty, none of the walls had been painted, the blinds were broken, there was mold all over the freezer (see photo), etc. We complained and they painted the walls the next week. This prevented us from moving in for a week. We were charged rent for these days and complained. The manager told us that we would be refunded for that week. We never received compensation.

The first weekend that we had moved in the neighbor below us came up and complained that we were making noise and partying until 2 am. I wasn't even present and my roommate went to bed at 1 am. This escalated to the point that this woman called the office about a noise complaint every day. The office kept giving us notices to stop making noise or else. We talked to management and she told us that everything was fine because she realizes that we aren't making noise but are just walking around our apartment.

This escalates even further as the woman downstairs begins filing false vandalism complaints against us in addition to the noise complaints. Once again the manager assured us that there was no proof (because we didn't do anything)and we were not in trouble.

This escalates further as the woman starts calling the police every night when we are sleeping. The police wake us up and harass us about keeping the noise down when we are sleeping!

The office waits for us to pay our rent for the month and the next day gives us a notice of eviction and they say we have 7 days to leave.

Lawsuit being filed. Don't let Sycamore Farms evict you for just living in your apartment.

Oh yeah forgot to add that the gate is always broken because the brilliant people who put it in didn't account for drainage. Water drains around the motor and stagnant water causes it to stop working. Take off gated community as a plus cause this gate is open about 70% of the time.

that is so disapointing. These are nice apartments so I am sad they have to do things like this. I was considering living here but now I am definately rethinking that.

sounds like the manager doesn't know what she's doing. It is very sad because they are very nice apartments and I too was going to move in there but I may reconsider my descision
