I spent 18 months at Sycamore. The complex is very nice but the noice level is horrible. The first apt I had was on the first floor and worked out fine. Once my first lease was up, I moved to a larger one bedrm apt on the 2nd floor & signed another year lease. During the Winter of 2001, my apartment wasn't heating properly and was FREEZING. I called the maint team and was told that some others were having the same problem and it was because the building I was in faced North and the winds were blowing from the North. The maint man came out and stated that my Central Heat was heating properly (although the thermostat only registered 50 degrees). It was so COLD. As a solution, the management went to WALMART and bought small space heaters and provided two to me (one for the LR and one for the Bedroom). They didn't offer to reduce my monthly rent to help for the increased electric bill or anything. Needless to say, once my lease was up, I WAS OUT OF THERE. It's a shame that the management and staff acts the way they do toward you once you sign your name on the dotted line. I will not be renting there again.
