UPDATE February 10, 2007: The manager has outdone herself...she figured out who wrote this review and isn't happy. The bad news--- We placed a work order for our trash compact on Jan. 29th. On 1/31/07 they removed the trash compactor and left a gaping hole where the cabinet/compactor use to be. The tile in front of the cabinet is gone, too, but the kitchen floor still has concrete chunks protruding through other tiles in front of that. My husband is a diabetic! They've been told in writing that it is dangerous but haven't shown any concern or effort to make this repair.
The good news---They finally came out this week to fix the carpet (see review below). I can't believe that it took them several months to come and shoot a few staples in it. Of course, my foot found one of the staples that worked itself loose. They also came in while we were gone to repair the light fixture that had been falling down.
Original posting: We have lived in the complex over 6 months and wish we never would have moved in on a 12 month lease. Works oders are not a priority; they come after Christmas decorations, make-readys, and hot tub cleaning. It took five months to get the broken tiles repaired in our entryway. When that was repaired, the carpet was pulled up. It left a gapping dangerous area where we could trip on it by catching our toes and feet (yes a whole foot could fit under the area). We were told it would be fixed the next day. That was almost two months ago and still no signs of being repaired.
Our kitchen floor tile developed cracks and holes and has concrete poking through where it started crumbling. That work order was sent 2 weeks ago. They sent maintenance up to take a picture of the floor we a cell phone camera. Of course, the kitchen isn't the only area that the concrete floor is broken. As you walk through the bedrooms, hallway, and living room you can hear the sound of chunky cement.
Management promises to take care of items immediately, but the promises arn't kept. This is the worst management I've ever had the misfortune of renting from.
