I have lived in the apartment complex about 6 months and so far I really like it. I had lived in a house for 11 years before moving downtown. Although this complex is about 25 years old, I think it is maintained very well for its age. The size of my apartment is great (1,254 square feet), and much larger than most newer apartments.
My favorite feature of the apartment is the location in downtown OKC. The complex is within walking distance of many locations downtown and it just feels more like you are in the city than the apartments located in Bricktown. I enjoy the grounds which are wonderful with all the large old trees. I have a small dog and it is nice to be able to take him for walks inside the complex and feel very safe whether it is early in the morning or later in the evening. The complex has an iron fence with security gates and since it is located next to the 911 center, I always feel safe here.
Bigger is not always better. The complex has 60 units and I live on the third floor but with 3 elevators for so few units, it is almost like having a private elevator. The apartments have outside walkways instead of inside hallways and this allows for lots of light and the ability to have flowers or tables and chairs for outside enjoyment. Since all the apartments open into an enclosed courtyard, with a pool and lovely landscaping, it really is like an oasis.
