Maintenance, grounds, & security are great here compared to Cambridge Landing across the street. However, beware of the new carpet form that they will ask you to sign if they've installed new carpet (if they haven't installed new carpet, it's not an issue). They may spring it on you after you sign a lease. The lease already covers any damage above the amount of deposit, so the new carpet form is not necessary. Don't be intimidated into signing it--you already have a lease, & they can't keep you from moving in if you refuse to sign it. Since they don't pay electric, they don't care how old & inefficient appliances are, as long as they work. The apts west of the office that face 89th street have tons of noise from traffic, so don't rent one of those unless you get to go inside & see what it's like w/windows open. Also, those apts face north & have no protection from the wind & can be quite drafty in the winter. Have had no problems w/noisy or rowdy neighbors, visitors, or trespassers. The management & ownership have remained the same for a long time compared to most apt complexes. Overall, a decent place, but not quite as great as the the neat appearance would have you believe.
