When Melissa was manager, all was well. She would take care of any problems that may arise, and she would work with you if you had to be a few days late on rent. The property is pretty quiet, I NEVER hear my upstairs or next door neighbors! Although, the grounds aren't great. The new owner, however, is an IDIOT!! I assured them I would be able to pay my rent 8/17/09, and even paid them 20.00 to file an extension! But he didn't think having to pay 450.00 to get my car out of impound was a good enough reason. But a death in the family would be! A death in the family wouldn't cost me 450.00!!! What a DUMBASS!! I am a very good tenant, and this is a one-time deal, but he's too stupid to realize it!!! What a moron!!

Hello! It's Melissa!!! I was just browsing the apartment ratings to see how Village on the Lake is holding up. I miss all of you guys and I hate to hear you're having a hard time with the new management. If you ever want to relocate to Edmond let me know!!! :)
