Management talks a good game to get you to rent and shows you a beautiful apt with new carpet, tile, etc..., but when it comes time to move in you find that the apt you were shown was only a show apt. The apt you rented was old and flooded the week before. The apt they replace it with is worse with no working washer/dryer connections, carpet that smells like urine and unclean. The apt they replaced that with finally was better but unclean with a running faucet, cracked windows and no locks. It had blood spatter left on the ceiling from the previous tenant who was attacked here and no one cared to remove the blood. They never fixed the cracked window as promised, never fixed the running faucet. After spending a week cleaning the apartment ourselves, the downstairs toilet overflowed for 8 hours before someone showed up, they were unable to fix it inside and had to work on the outside sewer on the 9th hour. They left a mess outside that we cleaned up a week later because they did not return as promised. Water is still flowing outside our apt like bubbling oil. We reported a leak in the ceiling next to the light fixture when we took a shower upstairs and it was never fixed or even looked at management. When the hot weather hit, the air conditioning did not work and was never fixed. Big pot holes in the parking lot, loud parties, fights, and trash dumping in the canal by residents were also problems.
