These apartments are the trashiest apartment that I have ever seen in my life and I just moved here from Dallas 6 months ago, there are some pretty bad places there, but this one tops the cake! There is constantly glass all over the parking lot, trash and old food strung across the grounds, the maint. men walk around with their thumb up their ASS, the office staff lie to every applicant that comes in and tells them that it's a safe place to live(gun shots nightly doesn't constitute a safe enviornment to me), people are constantly getting their homes and cars broken into. They let all of the trash from the surroundind apts. come and hang out all night and do not do any thing about it at all. When you put in a maint order they try to wait until yo umove out before they fix it. If you tell the that you are not paying due to lack of attention to your apt. then they file for eviction and take you to court. Wich by the way they have taken quite a few people to court lately and lost because the judge keeps hearing the same problems from the residents about maint. and management. Just a little bit of side info incase anyone is in that situation at this time. There is constantly raw sewage running through the parking lot, wich they have been cited on by th EPA and health dept. several times. Everyone needs to keep calling the fair housing, EPA , and the health dept. maybe they will finally do something about it. Vintage Lakes is the COLON CANCER of the city of the village. I advise everyone who is thinking about moving there t drive the entire property during the day and especially at night after 9:00 p.m. Make sure that you do that without any of the apartment staff. HELL ON EARTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
