My memories of Vintage Lake apartments From: DudditsSsdd8@aol.com Date posted: 4/8/2007 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006   Though the maintenance was shabby, the fact that hot water was hard to come by, Finally getting to move in a month after our move in date was set...Even having some maintenance men kick our door in because they where not paying attention. I have had some of the best memories of my fiance and I starting our life together. When the electricity would go out we'd entertain each other and just grow closer. When there wasnt any hot water we proved how far we would go to make sure that we had each other taken care of. About a year ago the winter was horribly horribly bad...this was in 2006. since they had pushed our move in date so far back,and kept pushing it back mind you. We finally had to move ALL OF OUR BELONGINGS IN ONE NIGHT IN THE SNOW!!! But when I was sick the next morning and even after developing an ear infection. I saw just how dedicated my fiance truly is to taking care of me.....I soon returned the kindness the fallowing week when he got sick. We actually came across this site to see if they even still had a site! We had our fair share of troubles and trails with the people in the office breaking promises and making us wait on maintenance, It was an experiance that would make the most patient person punch a baby. But, my boyfriend and I made the best of it and we feel that apartment (As ratty as the building is and as unhelpful as the staff is)has a special place in our memories. Also do not under any circumstances use their washing machines...there is an area behind the washers that is leaking onto electrical wires that look like they have beens tuffed into plastic bags.
