This is my 3rd lease at Warwick West apartments, even though I haven't lived there consecutively. I've lived at many apartments in Okla. City, and have come back to Warwick West because I trust in having a good experience there. Management is wonderful. Sometimes the maintenance team hasn't performed the best jobs, but when I let management know, the maintenance team came back and did a good job. I had had a problem with my window screens not staying on the windows during this latest lease, but that's been the only problem.
In earlier lease periods when I lived at WW, I had some problems with the air conditioning not cooling off the apartment very well. In most of the apartments, the a/c unit is located in the ceiling. If you live in a 2nd story apartment here, you may have quite an expensive electric bill for only a mildly cool apartment. Do what I did and check with OG&E for your potential apartment units average electricity bill. My first, upstairs 2-bedroom unit had $200 electric bills during the summer. My current downstairs 1-bedroom unit has only been about $60 to $70 during this summer so far.
Rent is a bit more pricey than the majority of other complexes in the city, however, the free washer and dryer in every unit and paid water/garbage make the rent price average out to other apartment complexes. I've never witnessed or heard of crime in WW, which is nice considering it's no longer a gated community. I think the location speaks for itself over all in safety and very centralized to the NW OKC area.
