I just moved here with my roomate, we overlook the tennis court. When i came here i didnt see any loose unruly kids, I didnt hear rap music blasting till, 2 in the morning, and didnt see alot of wanna be gang members. Well one month later, i have watched as kids beat the heck out of the cars in the lot with basketballs, vandalize flower beds, we are talking hundreds of plants, then there is the noise constant rap music every night. The maint. is good they fixed things i needed fast, the staff listens to me and fix's things i complain about, the problem is you have to feel bad because your having to complain so much. I had a 35 member gang fight yesterday during day light, in front of people in the tennis court. I called the security, and they came like 15 minutes later and left the one group there on the tennis court to just chill out, it is becoming the ghetto, i am trying to figure out how some of the people are affording the rent here when they are so young, and trashy. I have great quiet nieghbors, but it seems most people dont care about any rules here or care about eachother, and for as much as you pay you dont want to live in the ghetto
aug 18 2006 Things have changed alot and i mean alot in just the last month, i think it has alot to do with this new manager they have hired everyone i talk to describes her the same way, as an honest, hard working and respectful of tenants lady, I met with her as she wanted to address my complaints even though they where not under her watch, i have never had a manager do that, and it shows alot of class, she didnt bs, or try and mislead me, or just ---- off she listened andyou could tell if she said something was going to get done it was going to get done, i think this place is going to get alot better.this is a vast improvement from the way it felt earlier, as my electric bill was almost a third of my rent and i had to buy a window unit o supplement for the delay in maintance, due to others in worse shape than myself. I now believe that if there is a problem it will be handled alot more maturely and responsibally with more respect to the tentant than before.
