A truly unbiased opinion...

Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2008
I've been here for almost a year and here's what I've experienced:
Pros:
1. Neighbors are usually really nice. I haven't become best friends with anyone but nobody has been extremely rude either. Most people are quiet and clean.
2. There are 3 pools, and I've never seen any of them dirty. 2 lighted tennis courts. Jogging trail. Clubhouse. Fitness Center. Just about everything except room service.
3. Very roomy apartments; I have 2 closets in my bedroom (one being a huge walk-in) and one in the hallway. There is enough storage for anything here. The washer and dryer are both full-size (though one is on a shelf above the other to save room, not a big problem). I had brand new carpet when I moved in. Whoever was complaining about gross carpet should have said something. Speak up and they'll clean it or install something new!
4. They are pet-friendly, however the limit is 2 pets per apartment. There are several doggy bag stations throughout the complex. They are usually well stocked but someone needs to take the trash bags out at least once a week. The same one has been there for over a month.
5. Grounds are well-kept and mowed regularly.
6. They just reassigned the covered parking. Mine is much closer to my apartment now.
7. I renewed my lease recently and they sent me a list of 3 free gifts to choose from: Carpet cleaning, a fancy kitchen faucet or a new medicine cabinet for the bathroom. That was awesome.
8. Friendly staff and quick maintenance. Someone is usually at my door within 10 minutes if it's important. It takes about a day if it's not a priority, which is understandable. They really do have their hands full around here.
Cons:
1. When I first moved in, there were these 20-somethings getting drunk every weekend. They would create all kinds of noise and the next morning we would have to pick up beer cans and bottles. Nobody from the apartment staff would come out and clean it up, much less talk to these kids. Finally one of our neighbors came out one night and told them that he was trying to sleep and asked them if they could keep it down. It didn't help - they just got louder. Luckily they moved out soon after this.
2. Not the only time I've seen empty bottles and cans laying around. The same trash will sit there for weeks and nobody cleans it up.
3. Graffiti on the dumpsters - someone from the staff could just spray paint it blue and problem solved, but it's been like that for months.
4. The preparation for my apartment was done in a hurry, and it's obvious. I was supposed to get ceramic tile but ended up getting this cheap stuff that chips and wasn't even installed correctly. There was no weather stripping whatsoever. I had to request it after paying a very pricey electric bill. The walls look like they were painted by a first-grader; the white trim bleeds over into the light-gray wall and vice versa. These are mainly cosmetic issues and I came at the peak move-in time of year so it wasn't a big deal. Things are getting taken care of one at a time.
There are probably more issues (good and bad) not mentioned, but overall this is a great place to live. It does, however, need more structure and organization on management's part. I've probably lived in a fourth of all the NW OKC apartment complexes and this is by far the best value you can get here. If you want luxury, go to Edmond.
