I completely disagree w/ the previous review. I have lived here almost 2 mos. and haven't had such problems as were stated. Sure, when you submit a work order it can take a little time to get completed, this can occur with any large complex. Anytime I have had to contact maintenance they have responded in a very timely, efficient manner to the basic issues. There has been only one time that a work order was submitted that it took a little while to get it taken care of. This was due to management having to wait until an outside contractor could schedule the repairs. I have discovered that with these smaller dryers, if you overload it, it will barely dry your clothing. Try smaller loads. The windows are older throughout the complex, this can cause a person to be able to hear any "normal" conversations that are occurring outside of your apartment. I've had people outside of my apartment speaking and I barely heard their "every word". It really sounds more like a case of eavesdropping to me. You can't hear neighbors in the apartments around you. As explained to me, it has something like a dual-wall in order to assist with the sound-proofing. Next, each apartment is equipped with its own ventilation system. The smell of cigarette smoke would not be from the vent system, not to mention the fact that it doesn't travel down from the "upstairs" apartment as stated. There are a lot of residents who don't smoke in their apartments, they smoke outside. With the weaker windows in place, the scent of cigarette smoke could be coming from the outside. Last, but not least - concerning the parking, it depends on what area of the complex you live in. Some areas have more available parking than others. When you live in a location for not quite a month, you really need to give it a little time and a chance before making nitpicky complaints. As I said before, I have been here for two months and as with any large complexes there are going to be some delays for getting repairs or replacements of maintenance issues completed. I have found that the management has been very helpful, maintenance gets as much done as they can (as quickly as they can), and MOST of the other residents are very friendly. By the way - NO THIS IS NOT MANAGEMENT TRYING TO MAKE UP FOR A BAD REVIEW - I really am a resident!!!!
