I moved to OKC about 6 months ago and Watersedge seemed like a good choice as a first place to live. The rent is very reasonable and the apartments are nice. The facilities (e.g. oven, fridge) and the general decor is a bit old (i.e. 1980s) but everything works fine. I have had only one problem in 6 months and it was fixed within 1 hour of my call. The office staff are pleasant and helpful, and I have had no problems in terms of crime. The atmosphere of the place is not exactly what I'd call social, but a lot of the residents are more middle aged than students, so that's probably why. I've never had a problem with noise, for example, but equally I've not made many friends in the place. My only complaint about living here is the location. It's SW 22nd street which is just off Meridian. I don't really like this part of town (dull, dour, a bit run down in parts) and it's a good 15-20 minute drive to downtown/bricktown. So if you're looking for an apartment from which you can quickly get to bars/pubs, look elsewhere. However, if you're looking for a cheapish, safe, and quiet environment to live, I would reccommend Watersedge.

I agree and while I know it's not for everyone, Club Rodeo is only blocks away and there is also a small, but fun bar at the Biltmore just up Meridian. There is easy access to I-40 and I-44.
