In the 6 months I lived in this ground floor apt, sewage backed up into my apt 3 times. For the first two months I lived there before it happened, I noticed my toilet didn't flush very well, and I called maintenance about it a few times. All they did was plunge the toilet and replace the tank fixtures, then ignore my other calls. Finally one night, my toilet and bathtub filled up with sewage. A special machine was brought in to remove tree roots from the pipes. They did not clean up after themselves, so I came home to find sewage all over my floor, tub, and sprayed on the walls. Removing the roots did not fix the problem since it happened two more times. The 2nd time the toilet and bathtub overflowed and covered my bathroom floor with sewage. I ruined 3 towels by creating a dam to prevent the carpet getting soaked with it. Apparently this problem existed before I moved in. My neighbor told me it happened to the previous guys a couple times. My next door neighbors also experienced the sewage backup at the same times that I did, and a large area of their carpet was soaked with sewage. They let me out of my 1 year lease because of the sewage problems. This complex is surrounded by other apt complexes, and there's a lot of crime. I looked it up on a crimetracker and there had been 400 crimes within 1 year in a .75 mile radius. One day when I came home from work, in broad daylight, I saw a cop car with sirens blaring driving in one direction, and then a guy running through the complex in the opposite direction with a cop running after him yelling he was going to shoot if the guy didn't stop. I'm pretty sure there was some drug dealing activity in the building across the parking lot from mine, and my neighbors smoked marijuana. I would definitely recommend staying away from this place.
