I lived in Wilshire Village from 1997-2003 and the experience was OK. I recently moved back into the complex and the apartments have really gone done. In the last 3 months there has been an attempted burglary, my hot water tank caught on fire, the ceiling leaks, and the AC doesn't work. The AC and the ceiling are still not fixed after 3 weeks!!! Not to mention the drama you witness from the neighboring apartments. This is not the same complex it was 5 years ago and unless you absolutely have to (and I don't see why you would 'have to' given that there are better complexes for a comparable rate in the area) I would not suggest this complex to anyone. The staff gives a lot of lip service but isn't helpful. I am in hell (literally because my AC is still out)!!!

I am currently seeking people who have been unsatisfied with McSha to work on filing a class action law suit. I moved out of another property in January and haven't recieved my deposit yet. They are required by law to send deposits or statements of charges within 30 DAYS of move-out. The resident only has six months to provide a writted demand for the deposit, and by mistake I waited too long. When you move out from a McSha property, make sure you get your deposit within 30 days. If you don't, please make sure that you seek legal action. I really don't want to see this happen to anyone else.

I have a friend who lives in a McSha apt. in OKC (if you can call it living). Her kitchen floor has had standing water on it for months. Tile is all messed up, black mold on pantry walls, etc etc. She's on Section 8 too. Somebody needs to take these McSha SOBs to court ASAP. They are ripping people off and endangering their health for MONEY.
