This new company that bought out McShay ( Vangaurd Housing) is absolutely horrid! They are taking away things that were even on our leases . Something sure is fishy about the office. They don't pay their bills & they want the tenants to pay for everything that was promised to us & in a lease. Water is one thing but our security' jeez.( high crime area ) & maintenance is just as bad. You can't get maintenance over ...leaks & sink overflows are NEXT DAY or over the weekend!! CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT' On call maintenance does not answer their cells. So you're on your own till you can beg the office to send someone. A FLOOD' ..gees. It's gone downhill fast in the last 2 months. I can't wait to move. this place is really getting slummy & we have slumlords now. Please don't move here. you will be SORRY! we feel our rent is going to their new office & redoing their own apartments ( office & maintance apartments) & the tenants are the LAST thing on their "to do" list. I never thought I would say this..but I miss the old owners. :(

I agree whole heartdly, it sucks since vanguard took over. The new management will lie to your face, make promises they have no intentions of fullfilling, violate agreements that were made and will jeopardize tenants safety, all while they smile in your face. Gee, I think the O'jays wrote a song about them"back stabbers".

I whole heartly agree with this response; all information supplied on the new owners' property management team is correct; think twice before you decide to move here; I suggest you pay for an apartment with security and one that does not charge you for water. The owners' of apartments make megga bucks; much like the car gasoline companies and their outlets. Next to getting the apartment you want or like would be; what kind of maintenance problems do you have and how readily are they taken care of daily and weekends. Remember "word of mouth is their worst advertiser"; keep up the verbage.
