I have been a resident at Wilshire Village for a year now and i just wanted to say that i couldnt be more happier with the new management team!!! The previous company that was here has given this property a bad name and i just wanted to write something good because i know they're working hard to get this property back to good. Security escorts me to my car and apartment when ever i need it and i think that is just awesome. I've had some maintenance issues as well and the response to my service call was quick and efficent. The office staff is very friendly and helpful to any of my needs. I can now call my apartment "home" and that's a good feeling.

Ah i feel like i need a gun to drive thur the apt complex.
What about the the poor girl that was current on rent and had 15 days left on her lease, coming home to nothing in her apt?

BEWARE OF THIS PLACE. WHEN YOU SEE SOMEONE ON HERE SAYING THIS IS A FANTASTIC PLACE FOR YOURELF OR YOUR FAMILY,DON'T BELIEVE IT, IT'S STAFF WRITING. THIS IS THE ONLY COMPLEX THAT MCSHA SOLD,THAT SHOULD TELL YOU SOMETHING. THEY SOLD A HEADACHE TO THESE SLUMLORDS THAT ARE HERE NOW. THE STAFF FITS IN THE NEIGHORHOOD REAL WELL I MUST ADD, REAL LOWCLASS. THE BLONDE IN THE OFFICE TOOK A "SALESMAN CLASS",SHES FULL OF IT. LOOK,THERES OTHER APARTMENTS AROUND THAT HAVE TO BE BETTER THAN THESE IN EVERY WAY. THE LIGHTING IS REAL SCARSE. THE OFFICE SAIDS TO CALL SECURTY IF YOU FEEL THREATINED TO WALK TO YOUR OWN CAR ( THAT SHOULD TELL YA SOMETHING). THE MAILBOXS ARE ALWAYS GETTING BROKE INTO. BAD MAINTANCE,LITTLE TO NILL SECURTY, THEY LIE LIE LIE TO THE TENATS. IT'S THE ONLY PLACE I HAVE FOUND THAT HAVE TWO MANAGERS IN THE OFFICE TOO. SOMEONE NEEDS TO CLEAN THE OFFICE & THATS A FACT. & THE ABOVE RESPONSE, THERE WERE 2 INCIDENCES,WHICH ONE ARE YOU REFERRING TO? A WARNING WOMEN, KEEP ON LOOKING, IF SAFTETY & YOUR WELL'BEING IS A CONCERN AND A ISSUE , UNLESS YOU LOVE TROUBLE & LOTS AND LOTS OF UNDO STRESS...STAY AWAY! and for the residents already there , Get a gun & a big dog & have 911 in your speed dial....Your on your own at Wilshire Apartments. Thanks Vangard,you have to make a home into a fortress because of your lack of empathy & sympathy to the many families & single women there, SHAME ON YOU & I pity the person who will one day be hurt for your LACK of careless disregard and disconcern to others!!

I just wanted to say that yes Mcsha is a terrible company. But, in defense to the people in the office they aren't told to lie about the things that go on in the community. They are bound by fair housing laws not to give out any good or bad information. If you want to know crime rate look at websites such as newsok.com and look at the crimetracker. The office staff (and no I DO NOT work for this company) are just doing their jobs. It is up to you the tenant to make sure you also do your homework BEFORE signing a lease

I can't believe these few people are saying good things about this complex! WATCH THE NEWS!!! RIGHT AFTER VANGUARD TOOK OVER. A WOMAN RENTER WHO WAS NEVER LATE ON HER RENT, NEVER HAVE A NOISE PROBLEM AND WAS AT THE END OF HER LEASE GAVE HER 30 DAY NOTICE. GOT MARRIED, WENT ON HER HONEYMOON AND CAME HOME TO MOVE OUT AND EVERYTHINGS WAS STOLEN FROM HER UNIT!!! MAINTENCE WENT IN AND TOOK ALL OF HER THINGS AND HER 30 DAYS WAS NOT UP!!!! WELL THE WOMANS FAMILY MEMBER WORKS WITH ONE OF THE LOCAL NEWS STATIONS AND SHE CALLED THEM OUT ON IT!!! MS BLONDE WON'T TALK TO THE NEWS PERSON AT FIRST AND THEN SHE CAME OUT AND GAVE THEM A SONG AND DANCE THAT IT WAS NOT VANGUARDS PROBLEM, IT WAS MCSHEAS PROBLEM. MCSHEA NO LONGER OWNED THE PROPERTY WHEN ALL THAT WENT DOWN. QUIETLY VANGUARD PROPERTIES PAID FOR THE WOMANS THINGS. HER STORY WAS SHOWN THAT EVENING ON THE 5:OO PM NEWS

It also happened to another lady. She gave the office a 30 day notice & during that time she was moving out & came back to her door locks changed..She had 2 weeks left on her lease!! She couldn't get back in to get her things & when she did,,maintance took what they wanted & left what they didn't want!! Thats just NOT right!!!.
