We moved here when it was owned by McShea. We were promised things would be fix once we got in. THEY WHERE NEVER FIXED! When this new company took over they promised us the same. Well it's been 9 months and still nothing! We wanted to move out but they said give us a chance and you will see a difference, we've seen nothing. At least with Mcshea you knew things were not going to be fixed because of their legal problems, with this new company they say yes well fix it and never show up!! Trash sat in and around the trash bin for days!!! We have mold, leaks, windows that have been put in the wrong way which gives og&e the other half of our paycheck, spiders, roaches, poor foundation I could go on and on. We are trying to move into a better and safe place to live. Rent has gone up in Oklahoma City it's hard to find a safe decent place to live. Don't move here!! unsafe, unclean. This new company also wants to charge extremly high rent for a unit they won't fix. Putting hardwood floors is not an upgrade to charge renters higher rent.

CALL ACTION CENTER OF OKC AT 405)297-2535 OR CHANNEL 4 AT 405)478-6336 TO SEE IF THEY CAN HELP YOU. APARTMENT DWELLERS NEED TO GO BEFORE THE CITY COUNCIL TO UNDERSTAND THEIR RIGHTS. CHANNEL 4 HAS BEEN DOING A SERIES ON APARTMENT MANAGEMENT BUSINESSES THAT ARE FAILING TO KEEP PROPERTIES UP; HOMEOWNERS HAVE TOO PER CITY LAWS; WHY ARE NOT THESE APARTMENT OWNERS AND MANAGEMENT PEOPLE ABIDING BY THESE LAWS; I HEAR QUITE OFTEN, "IS THIS A GREAT STATE OR WHAT", I DON'T THINK SO WHEN THE PEOPLE RESPONSIBLE FOR OVERSEEING THESE PROPERTIES ARE NOT DOING THEIR JOBS. MCSHA SAID THEY WERE PROVIDING MORE MATERIAL IMPROVEMENTS THAN WHAT THEY WERE AND ARE CITED FOR GOVERNMENT FRAUD; SHAME ON YOU, MCSHA!!! THIS PROPERTY AT WILSHIRE VILLAGE IS BEAUTIFUL!!! BUT JUST LOOK AT SOME OF THE APARTMENTS AND SURROUNDING GROUNDS; BROKEN WINDOWS, BIG HOLES IN THE GROUND, DETERIORATION OF BUILDINGS; IT IS A MESS!!!

I lived there & moved. That complex is really bad,no light,crime,( not counting the stealing the employees get away with. little maintenance, I often wondered where my rent did go besides fixing up their office & probably their own apartments. Just the other day a tenants tv was stolen while at work,no one but maintenance could have got in. Wasn't a forced entry. Not the first time thieves have stolen items from tenants or changed locks while the person still had a lease & that person was up to date with the rent. Wilshire was probably a pretty nice place one time,I always heard they were going to get a gate,fix the apartments up & hike the rent. The office breaks the lease & adds & takes away without a notice. No matter what they did to those apartments,it's the other apartments & just the neighborhood going down hill. I feel for the people still living there & the people that will move in those apartments in the future not knowing what they are getting in to. I just hope they can read the reviews. Not to forget the constant police helicopters flying over the apartments.
