What is not right is the fact that when you hand in your 30 day notice of vacating the property and they lose it. This happened to me so I gave them yet another one. After everything cleared with the office manager I thought things were fine. Then 4 months later I get a letter at my new address from the office stating that I owe them money ($2700) for breaking my month to month lease without prior notification along with alleged property damages. I really thought that when Vanguard took over the McSha property that things would truly change. It most certainly did not, which is sad because they had an excellent opportunity and messed it up.

Did you keep a copy of the first 30 day notice? Probably the best way would be to send it certified mail return receipt requested. Also, pictures and having personnel from the office do a walkthrough at the time of your departure. Call Action Line and see if they can help.
