I moved here and have regretted it since I moved in. On move in day, I open my cabinets to discover not just roaches, but an empty cigarette package and an empty cup. The kitchen floor was disgusting, we had to scrub and scrub and scrub to get it to where we'd be willing to walk on it. The bugs have been a continuing problem. They spray a third of the complex every month, so the roaches just travel from building to building. They say they will spray your apartment every month, but you have to keep track of their schedule and call and request it. Even then, still a problem. About a week after we moved, there was a leak in our kitchen. They came out probably a half a dozen times before this was fixed. They finally fixed it after I called at 6am because it sounded like it was raining inside the apartment! Completely flooded our kitchen as well as about a 4 foot square of carpet outside of the kitchen. We had numerous leaks in the kitchen and in the dining room. One kept dripping on my fairly new dining room table. It took like months to finally fix this. We had one leak in which the staff told me every day for 2 weeks that it had been fixed, only to discover it had not been! Had family in to stay and had to deal with the kitchen sink backing up when they used the restrooms upstairs. Yes, there's a backyard but I hope you don't like grass. We tried to plant our own, but the spicket for the hose did not work, and after numerous requests to get it fixed so our grass could survive, nothing happened. They finally fixed it 4 months after we asked and after our grass was dead. The staff is absolutely, positively rude. They are sugary sweet until you move in. Expect to be talked to like you are scum! They are very condescending. They just want to get you off the phone, they don't even care what you have to say. They never call you back when you've got a problem, you have to call them. AND when you do call them to check up to make sure they're taking care of your problem, they are hateful towards you. I guess if you don't expect to have a staff person who fixes your problems, this is the place for you. Oh, and don't rent here if you expect the office staff to be competent at all. I can't count how many times I've called and they've told me they lost my maintenance request (ones for important things like LEAKS! that are damaging to property and would raise health concerns) and the REAL problem occurred when they LOST the key to our apartment not once, BUT TWICE. The first time we let them make another copy, the second time we weren't so kind. Come to find out the maintenance man had our house key from Friday to Monday and they just thought it was lost. They really opened themselves up to liability for "misplacing" access to someone's apartment. Don't think you can sleep on a cool night with the windows open because most of them DONT open, or if you do, there are people outside with loud cars all night! And hopefully you won't have the same neighbors that we did, they often forgot which apartment they lived in, so actually stuck their key in our door to try and open it! SCARY!

DO NOT RENT HERE!

This review is right on target. The apartment complex was well maintained until the new owners from California purchased the units. It took 6 months for a maintenance request I logged to be addressed, and I assure you I'm not exaggerating. When a month passed with no action I stopped by the office to follow up. When I told the young woman working in the office it had been a month since I had logged the request she smirked and chuckled sarcastically. The laundry rooms quickly deteriorated. At one point all of the washers and dryers near my apartment were either not functioning or functioning improperly. Landscaping and the overall appearance of the complex quickly deteriorated. The previous owner maintained a regular pest control schedule. By the time I was finally able to move the entire complex was overrun with cockroaches and mice. In fairness its been almost a year since I moved so the management and maintenance might have improved.
