I recently moved into these apartments and wish to warn prospective renters!! BEWARE the bait and switch!!! The agent showed me this great newly updated apartment and all of the wonderful amenities like lakes, pools, fitness center. As it turns out, he only showed me the "good stuff"...the sales pitch stuff!! The stuff I didn't exactly get when I finally moved in. I was living in another state so my trip here to look was short, then I returned and made my arrangements over the phone. The staff are okay but not great! When I finally was given an apartment number and loaded up and moved in I was sickened! Trash everywhere, less than desireable persons hanging around and lots and lots of empty apartments where they put me (away from the NICE part of the complex!) There are 5 pools but 2 were not open, 1 is still not open after I was promised it would be within 2 weeks. Instead, the water was drained (into a nearby lake!!!) and the pool is torn up. Cats roam freely and "mark" everything in site. Gangs frequently are seen mulling around and I hear "horrendous" things have happened in my own building!!! I put in a list of items to be repaired, including safety issues, and have been ignored after 5 phone calls to follow-up on my written request. My next step is 30 day notice and I may choose to fix and deduct or just to break the lease. After the heavy rain, raw sewage was allowed to run freely from within 25 feet of an apartment, down a hill, along the sidewalk (near the playground no less) and instead of being cleaned up, was covered up with pallets!!!! Disgusting!!! I've had to call security 3 times since I've been here and the riff-raff keep coming. Beware, the bait and switch, all is not what it seems!!
