We moved to Woodscape to "move on up" to a nicer complex. We had just gotten married and wanted to settle into a nicer one bedroom. We fell in love with the 1 bed with sunroom and figured paying $500 a mo for a 1 bed, we would get what we wanted. The apt for the most part was alright. Neighbors were noisy. We had 4 COMMON WALLS because of the sardine in a can type construction. The different looking floorplan with open kitchen wall was a neat idea but it is difficult to fit furniture. THE ABSOLUTE WORST experience living there was "The leak". It was in our utility room. We lived on the first floor and even though maintenence came out 7 times saying he fixed it, he never could tell us if it was 2nd or 3rd floor leaking. He never fixed it. It stopped leaking above the washer for awhile and one day while getting a video out of our cabinet in the corner with the ajoining wall, my foot squished in the carpet. I pulled the rug back and found MOLD EVERYWHERE. It had been molding in the walls and under the carpet. IT absolutely ruined our furniture there as it molded the underside of the wood terribly. Our A/C also went out on our anniversary and we discovered the problem at 6pm. The sun hadn't even gone down yet but they told us maintenece couldn't fix it until the morning since they have a "no fix" policy after dark!!! It didnt' change the fact that it was August and after dark was in the 90s. JUST AWFUL! We had to get a hotel that night. The walls were so thin, I could sing along with my neighbors radio. DO NOT RENT HERE! There are far better places!
