Okay, but not great

Years at this apartment: 2000-01-01 - 2003-01-01
1) Parking is a bit scarce around my unit. The close spots fill quickly and I cant see paying the $15/mo for covered parking that isnt close. I had a window broken on my vehicle a few years ago and have seen broken glass around a few times since. My biggest complaint is the inconsiderate residents/visitors that block in other cars or take two places.
2) The noise isnt as bad as it could be. I live next to the parking lot and have heard more than a few domestic disputes at 3 AM. The southern part of the complex also benifits from being next to the 39th Speedway with all that entails on the weekends.
3) I dont really care about landscaping and Ive never used the pool or fitness center, but I was disappointed to see the hot tub filled in. It does seem that the pool parties consist largely of non-residents.
4) The outdoor lighting situation is a bit of a joke. Most of the bulbs burned out long ago.
5) The appliances are aging and the kitchen faucett seems a bit cheap.
6) My only experience with interior maintenance has been the heater, A/C, and garbage disposal. They fixed all in a timely manner except the heater which required two visits. Theyre having some issues with water service. The shower pressure has been sketchy for the last year or so and they have dug up the water main a few times. Its still not quite right.
7) I dont get the impression that they care very much for existing residents. I overheard a sales pitch once while dropping off rent that was a load. They do not secure deliveries to the office well or verify ownership when claiming packages.
8) Ive only lived at the apartments and may not have enough with which to compare, but it seems things could be better.
