I lived at Casa Mia for 2 years. It's the worst place I have ever lived at. It is falling apart. There are lots of roaches. The cooling system is extremely old. It breaks down about every 2 weeks so it gets to be about 90 degrees inside and absolutely miserable. The head maintenance man is very mean. He is also a parking ----. Since it is so close to campus (which is the only plus) you only get 1 parking spot per aparmtent unless you have 2 cars. The parking ---- will call the police to give parking tickets and have you towed if you do not have your tag in the window and if you are parked in the wrong spot. On a weekend (no parking enforced except assigned spots) my friend came over and parked in guest parking. The parking ---- yelled at him and threatened to tow him if he didn't leave. So the mean maintenance man and the terrible air conditiong are enough for me to tell people to NOT live there. Also when I moved out I thoroughly cleaned the apartment floor to ceiling and they charged me for a dirty bathtub and refridgerator!
