I chose Casa Mia because it was close to campus but regret it now after living through the lease. All winter my apartment was way too hot, around 85, because you could not turn off the heat. When the air conditioner is on, cigarette smoke often finds its way into the apartment through it which they claimed they could do nothing about. Several times the water would go out for hours at a time. The big laundry room they claim to have was closed for half of my lease and when it was open, only one or two of the machines actually worked. Also I was woken up too many times to count by their construction and maintenance people. Finally, as I get ready to move out of the place, without warning they tear down the stairs I use to get to and from my apartment. All these things just kept adding up to the point where it was a little ridiculous that I was paying them to live here. Do not live at Casa Mia.
