Dear apartment hunter; Beware! These apartments are not where you want to call your 'home'. The Manager, Becky Harrington, she is extremely rude, mean and cut throat. I have personally witnessed her speaking hateful to residents and when residents complain, she tells them to either 1. call the police yourself or 2. confront the problematic person/s yourself/solve the problem yourself. (I guess she doesn't understand the definition of Manager)

I find this woman to be extremely inefficient in her duties and when I ask to get the information for the owner of the property, so he can be fully informed of the wrongdoings, I was told she didn't have access to that information. Oh Please...NOT know who you work for' She does not want her boss to know what she is doing or else that would be free information to the residents. Afterall if she wasn't doing anything wrong, why wouldn't she give out his office number''

Besides her ineffective management techniques...the maintenance staff work with what they have to try and maintain things on property. I have asked Larry, the lead maintenance guy why things do not get fixed and he stated that he is only one person and that he is the ONLY maint. man for 300 apartments. Not to mention, he says that trying to get Becky to order the supplies is like pulling teeth. So, the residents get to suffer due to her inability to take care of that aspect of her job also. I might want to mention the office staff, other than the Manager, they are extremely courtous and try to help, unless Becky is in the office and then it's a totally different story.

Yes, it's loud here and yes there are kids running wild...but hey, it is an apartment complex, so that part of it seems like it would go hand in hand.

The grounds seem pretty maintained and picked up, always see the groundskeeper during the day with his stick and rolling trash cart...so that part seems ok.

The price isn't bad considering you get the bills paid, but like other reviews have stated, you get what you pay for. If you want to live under a Managers rules, which she violates any time she pleases...for example, just trodding into your apartment anytime she feels the need...Oh Manager Lady...did you realize the Fair Housing Law states that you can not just enter somebody's dwelling unless you give them notice that you will enter' Also, you can only enter during "reasonable working hours as stated to the resident in notice" UNLESS it's an emergency. Now I dont' remember when barging into the apartment to collect the rent was EVER an emergency, but she will just open the door and trod her arrogant self right in with no notice or courtesy....

Well, it's exhausting writing all this...I'm so glad that I don't live at 40 north apartments any more!
