Expensive, but overall pleased

As a college student, the Links was a wonderful place to live. It was well maintained, sprayed for bugs on a regular basis, and quiet/safe. I had only three issues: 1.) When my roommate and I arrived we had an army of crickets coming in from the bathroom vents. It took 4 visits for the staff to finally listen to us and take care of it from the outside other than just spray. It was kind of a pain when you would see crickets fall from the vent onto the toilet or into the bathtub on an almost daily basis. But, I think this was partially because we were the first occupants of the appartment and the building had disturbed their nests. Problem #2: The hot water heaters are very small and do not keep the water hot. After 10 minutes in the shower it would go cold. Like baths, sorry. You would only be able to fill the tub 1/4 of the way with hot or even just warm water. Problem #3: They do not pro-rate or accommodate for the college school year. Sign a lease for ONLY what you need; otherwise, it can be VERY expensive to break it due to extra fees, balance payments, etc.
