I lived at Scholar's for the past year and honestly, what you see is what you get. I really loved living at Scholar's! No, it's not the prettiest apartment there is but it's one of the cheapest places to live in Stillwater. PLUS, you can walk to class, you can walk to the Strip and several other places to eat. Yes, it's old...but everything works. If something doesn't work, they fix it as soon as they can. Management will work with you and was really helpful in getting me in and out as I needed (and the LAWN is not their responsibility...as far as watering goes...I don't know who wrote that but I thought it was funny. They hire out a company to take care of the lawn and I don't know of any complex that hires management to be the maintenance man/gardener...)I thought the manager did a great job and was really nice and helpful to me! He even helped me move in!!! I once had a problem with the people above me being to loud and I just walked over and asked the manager to talk to them about it. He talked to them right away and I never had another problem again. I never had anything break. It was great! If you live alone and want to be close to campus, this is the place for you.
