Don't be fooled by the all of the promises and the pool. I lived at the commons for 2 years and constantly had problems. In my first apartment, our dryer broke before Thanksgiving and took 8 cycles to dry 1 load of clothes because the duct had collapsed. Also, before Christmas, my hot water in my bathroom sink quit working. Closet mirrors fell out of their tracks, and the doors that cover the washer and dryer were broken by the maintenence man. When I moved to my new apartment in August, none of these problems had been fixed and then they tried to charge me for them. In the new apartment, there were problems from the first day. Our dishwasher didn't work, and they threw a fit about getting a us a new one and told us that we would just have to run each load a couple times and the dishes would eventually come clean. Our dryer burnt our clothes, over $300 dollars worth, and they wouldn't come fix it for 2 months. They just kept telling us there wasn't anything wrong with it. The same thing with the refrigerator. It froze all of our food and they told us that we would just have to figure out a different way to store it cause there "wasn't anything wrong with the fridge", YEAH RIGHT! The office staff is rude and no one is helpful! Save yourself the hassle and disappoinment! Don't sign a lease!
