It is louder than if you were to be driving a dump truck through a chemical plant 24/7. There is never a time when everyone is quiet. The Reserve tells everyone that it wants to create an environment where students can study and sleep whenever they want...this is not the case. For most of my residency everything on the walls has shook along with everything in the cabinets. And the CA's will do nothing if you call them, the police will do nothing if you call them. Have had a constant ant problem, have called maintenance to do something and no one ever came running. I put out ant bait on two occasions, and they finally seem to be dying off, 7 months into my stay. You will be told that the average electric bill for each person will be around $50/month...the first couple of months electric was over $100/person. You can actually see light coming from the thresh-hold of the front door. The parking is terrible, if you get lucky you don't have to walk a mile to get to your apartment. Plus there are potholes that grow and grow and grow, hopefully they might swallow the whole complex. There are people playing basketball 24/7, believe me the constant pounding is unnerving, and the constant blinding light at night reminds you of Christmas Vacation. I have had a problem with getting my rent paid every single month, it is not that I don't have money to pay, they just can't seem to figure out how to run a credit card machine. It would not be so annoying if they didn't let me know on the day that late fees start to add up. They have threatened to evict me on numerous occasions, but somehow my credit card always gets charged. I just have a problem paying for others mistakes. One of my friends has been in an attempted mugging while walking to his apartment. The internet is allocated, so you can only receive a certain amount every day. The dryer has seemingly made clothes wetter, even after maintenance looked at it. The employees may as well be straight from the O.C., it upsets them any time that you take them away from facebook. Don't trust the model, your apartment will be smaller, carpet is cheap, and staff is rude once you become a resident. I think that is all, I may have forgotten something, the list just seems to multiply every day.
