I had to break the lease after being there for a little over a month and move back home for health reasons. I had already prepaid the 9 month lease and signed out with the management that they will help rent it out and have my refund back. This did not take place and they even charged me for fees of cleaning carpet, painting, cleaning (the apartment was clean and no wear--no normal management charge fees that they have to pay for new tenant move in cleanings) and water and trash bills even after I vacated. They really are unhelpfully business minded and look outside to help but inside they are very dishonest. Really consider if you must be at this management apartment before signing the lease. They will not help you but take all your money no matter what happens to you.

You're obviously one of those people who creates their own folly, because you don't think before you act. However typical of Tulsa (and Oklahoma in general), you know things are bad when landlord attitudes are scummier than the trash they cater to. One of these days, an angry resident pushed to the limit is going to retaliate in a big way.
