Due to the job change, I moved to another city from the Arbors of Southern Hills apartment. I terminated my lease two months earlier than the ending date, and paid the fine as required. We cleaned my apartment just before we moved out of it. The staff told me that my deposit ($150) will be mailed to my new address within 8 weeks.

After 8 weeks passed, I did not get anything from them. When I called the leasing office, I was firstly told that they could not give my deposit back due to the early termination of my lease. It does not make any sense because I already paid a fine for that. Then they told me that the deposit was nonrefundable because the appartment was dirty. They said they took some pictures of the trash left in the appartment.

The manager agreed to mail both the pictures and checklist to me, but I never received anything from them. When I called the office again, the manager did not talk to me at all. The staff always says she will tell the manager to call me back, but the manager never called me back.

That the most terrible manager I have ever seen. Never do business with people like this.

Maybe this person should have read their lease. My lease clearly states that if I do not fulfill my lease the deposit is forfeited. I am an adult an know that I should walk my apartment with the mgmt when I move to make sure everything is ok. Jennifer always returned my calls and the new manager is VERY nice and caring..........I justlooked up the Oklahoma Landlord Tenant Laws and it clearly states that you have to fulfill your lease to get it back - DUH

It also clearly states in every lease and the Tenent laws that if you pay the early termination fee, concessesions, and give proper notice you are entitled to your deposit back. If you did not get pictures you can get your money back....I KNOW THIS MANAGEMENT COMPANY AND THEY ARE FULL OF GETTING OVER ON THEIR TENANTS...DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!THIS IS A MUST
