I had roaches falling from my ceiling and stove from move-in and PILES of rollie pollies in the bedrooms (literally clumps of like 20-30). I was never able to unpack my belongings or cook a meal. Mngt said not to until they got rid of the roaches, which they blamed on a neighbor. As for the rollie pollies, mngt said they were just a bother and not to wory about it. My air conditioner never worked (and I had a newborn at the time). Multiple complaints of this were never resolved. Maintenance was rude, said he was not going to fix a problem because he felt he had already done an adequate job, which was untrue. I was never able to sleep in my master bedroom because the ventilation system for the washer/dryer are didn't work. Whenever my upstairs neighbors did laundry (which was everyday), my bedroom would become hot and humid. Keep in mind that I had no working AC. There was a foul odor in my unit which always smelled like Riverside Drive. I won't go into what it actually was and how the complex management would've liked me to believe it was bug spray. My unit was so bad, that the previous resident said she would drive by daily in order to warn anyone living in it to leave. Unfortunately, I did not meet her until about a month or 2 later since I had to stay with relatives most of the time due to the living conditions of the unit. What really ticked me off is that management knew I had a newborn baby and a child, and they didn't try like they should to fix my problems, especially the AC for a baby.
