This was my first apartment. At first everything went well, although I felt extremely pressured by the staff to make a decision immediately upon viewing the apartment. It's quiet living and the complex is mostley inhabited by older people. This became a problem when the staff decided they did not like my boyfriends appearance and had my neighbors keep an eye on me and my boyfriend without my knowledge. I was evicted on these terms. The manager called me giving me an ultimatum... I can meet my boyfriend across the street, or I can continue to live at my apartment. The manager is very controlling and nosy. If you have a guest spend the night, they better be willing to give their information for a background check. I would definitly not reccomend these apartments to anyone who values their privacy.

the background checks that are run on everyone is what makes me sleep sound at night...i would rather know that my neighbors are clean than to not know if they are convicted felons.

I agree. The manager is also brazenly bigoted against her own race, but there's nothing wrong in keeping tabs on what residents might be doing beyond the provisions of their lease agreement. That's what keeps it nicer than the average complex. This place doesn't even allow dogs.
