This is my first time to live on my own and i couldn't ask for a better place to live. Although the area isn't great, i feel really safe on the property. Debra and Mike are great. Would definitely recommend it!

So would I (5 years ago), but to say "the area isn't great" is a gross understatement. In fact, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if the owner of Ashwood doesn't sell the property soon for that very reason. Yes, it's still conscientiously managed (at the present time), but it's not where you want to live unless you prefer life in the barrio.

If you need to live on the east side of Tulsa then Ashwood is the best apartment complex to live in hands down. I have lived here for nearly 3 years and its owned by a person that cares about its appearance and its tenants. They have made multiple improvements during the time that I have been here. Debra the manager doesn't put up with any crap. She runs a tight ship and is diligent about keeping out people that aren't suppose to be on the property. Mike the maintainence supervisor is also very good at what he does. I wouldn't live at any other complex and as for the area, crime is everywhere and Ashwood is the best one to be in as far as that is concerned.
