I lived at Avondale for about 4 months. The first month or two were OKAY, not great. After that we started getting wet spots in the living room carpet, and soon realized our ceiling was leaking. We called the office over 20 times to tell them of the problem, and each time they PROMISED to have someone come out. 3 days later no one came, and the whole hallway was SOAKED. you could not walk anywhere in the house without shoes on. We called 3 days later and were once again promised service. After 5 weeks and about 15 phone calls, someone came with a huge fan, and placed it in our living room to try and dry out the carpets' (STILL not fixing the leak in the ceiling) they said they would come back within 1-3 days to fix the ceiling, and we did not complain because we were happy to have it started. 5 days passed and still nothing was being done about the leaking ceiling. My fiance started to get sick and the doctor said it was from mold. We lifted up the carpet and looked inside of the cabinets where the radiator was and it was COVERED in mold. We took pictures and tried to show the office but they somehow blamed it on us. While this was all going on, we went to my aunts one weekend in Missouri and came back to our door kicked in, and everything TRASHED. The wall tile in the bathtub was smashed in and molding, and there were numerous holes in the walls. We filed a police report and the office once again, blamed us for all the damage. Every night for about 3 weeks there were a bunch of black men outside threatening to kill our neighbors- i felt incredibly un-safe in these apartments. Management refused to let us break our lease-so we paid last month of rent and left. I would rather have bad credit than stay in that ---- hole one more second.

I agree....We have seen so much crime in the past 6 months I no longer feel safe to live here, Including(Drugs found in the courtyard, drive -by shootings, a murder, a kidnapping, and the list goes on...).
