Years at this apartment: 2005-01-01 - 2006-01-01
The area of Tulsa where this apartment was located was really nice about 10 years ago, nowadays it's greatly deteriorated.
With more and more property in the area becoming section 8 housing, it's only natural that the whole area suffers.
I was only there for six months, but during that time I heard gunfire on a few occasions; had some very noisy neighbors move in across the yard (probably hurricane refugees); and on multiple occasions I've seen bounty hunters close in on a neighbor's apartment as if to make a bust.
After I moved out, I've seen the complex on the news.
They've busted a man who was dealing drugs to Jenks high school kids, and one of the buildings caught fire displacing everyone who lived in it.
My personal experience was ok...
the management was responsive and the maintenance was adequate.
If it wasn't for the deteriorating quality of people living in this part of Tulsa I would probably consider moving back...
but now I fear for my safety whenever I'm in the area at all.
Definitely would not recommend to families with small children!
