Love It!! From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 5/24/2007 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2007   I have lived here since 2005 and love it! The atmosphere is very peaceful. I grew up in the country and living here is the closet I've come. I chose Barcelona for that main reason. I love the trees, birds, squirrels...All the others just seemed like "paved paradise". The floor plan is awesome. Big rooms w/ large closets. Yes, these apartments are older but in my opinion thats what gives them the character I love. I'm a little surprised by some of the older reviews about maintenance and staff. I've never had a problem & they have always been very friendly. Any time a repair was needed they were there w/in the same day or the next at the latest & were always thorough. I have NEVER had a problem w/ any kind of insect. The apartment was immaculant when I moved in and the grounds have always been well maintained. To be fair, the only negative things I could say is that you do not have washer/dryer hookups in your apartment but there are nice/clean laundy facilites located throughout the complex. You do have to pay for the use of the washer/dryers and some of the washing machines need repaired.
