My girlfriend and I were relocating to Tulsa from Okc, she got a job promotions, and we had about a month to get everything in order. We finally found the Barrington and it had what we wanted...close to her work, her parents, and we could get around the area...we filled out the applications and put down the deposit to hold the appartment. I dont have the best of credit...long story...I explain this to Patrick the guy I thought was helping me. He said that would not be a problem that I wouldnt be denied. I thought that was that. He said he would get back to us on Monday since this was Friday...Thursday the next week I have to call him to see if everything was ok on the app. he was waiting on employement verification...call him the following week now I have to pay something off my credit (I didnt know it existed) so I did, I ask if I do that if we are good to move in, I have the rental truck and now time is running out he said he would see me the first....wrong I go up to give him the receipt from what I paid now a week away I have to pay deposit, first and last months rent...none of which he has mentioned to me before...I had no other choice but to find another place to live I could not afford 1600 plus in a weeks time with moving expense...all I wanted back was my deposit and application fees back since I felt I was mislead and since he never could even call me I had to call everytime good thing I did or I would be homeless in three days...so much for customer service, they say I cant get apps fees back because they were charged to run credit well be up front in first place and I wouldnt of put you through the trouble...but go news I got an apt anyway somewhere else and they seem they want my money...just not all of it..peace
