We lived at brighton park I for about a year and a half. It was the worst apartment experience I have ever had. The first few months were ok but then things got bad. My car got broken into 4 times. We had to call 911 on many occasions. Not including the night we had to call them 3 times. We had awful neighbors, who were mostly drug dealers. We complained to the office about all the late night traffic but they didn't do anything. My car also got hit twice in the parking lot. Once by one of the drug dealers "friends", another by an ex wife of someone who worked there. The final straw was when someone broke into our apartment. They didn't want to come fix our door that night. We were accused of trying to rip them off when we told them we wanted out of our lease. We only had 1 month left on the lease. I didn't feel safe staying there by myself or walking outside alone. It got so bad, I couldn't walk outside alone without somebody from the next door apartment complex harrassing me. I do not recommend this place, not to anyone. There are much better and SAFER places to live.
