Long-time residents overlooked.

Their focus is on hooking new people in on the belief that their apartment will be as great as the model apartment shown. No updates, paint, or carpet replacement have been done in my apartment the numerous years I've been here. There is a huge sign which claims they have "recently renovated." Well, the outside of the buildings was re-painted last summer - that's all I'm aware of. New flood lights had been installed a couple of years ago which helped illuminate the dark parking lot and walkways, however, they have let the old apartment grounds street pole lights burn out and have not replaced their bulbs. Two of my neighbor's car were stolen this year and another neighbor's car was stolen several years ago from the apartment parking lot. The rock wall barriers are falling down, and instead of being repaired or replaced, each newly fallen rock is removed permanently. Out of sight, out of mind' There has been a big turnaround of employees over the past 3-4 years. Rental capacity has dwindled over the years. More and more vacant apartments has meant more parking spaces available closer to one's building. Currently, there are at least four vacant apartments (20%) in the building in which I live. The most recent to move out were told they needed to do so quickly, because they already rented it to new people and needed it for immediate move-in. Their apartment, however, is still vacant. I am currently renting for more money than newly signed residents do. I was told they couldn't lower my rental rate from past contract prices. The air filters are only changed by the maintenance staff every 3 months. There have been 4 separate incidents of water leakage of various types in my apartment since I've lived here. There is unfinished maintenance work in my apartment. I was told the replacement items were on order. Several months have already past. They used to clean my carpet upon yearly contract renewal, but haven't done so the past few years. The Crowne property management company is out of state and this is the only complex owned by them in Oklahoma. Check out the photos of their other properties located in other states on their website. Much nicer! The only reason I have stayed here is that I can not afford to move.
