I lived in Cobblestone apartments for a year, and we had several, several problems. The parking lot is not very well lit, and the light for our building was always flickering or going out; also, you can't see the lines on half the parking spaces. My girlfriend was always getting cat-called in the parking lot. You can feel your heat or a/c being sucked out of your doors and windows. I had a one bedroom, and my summer electric bills were about $120-and I turned my a/c off when I wasn't there. The screen door to the balcony must be fifty years old, but at least it matches the carpet and fridge (all but four in the whole complex don't even have auto-defrost and they don't manually defrost them either.) I used two bottles of spot remover on the carpets when I moved in and they're still not clean; they also feel really greasy. Maintainance, even for serious problems, takes about a week. I had an electrical short behind my bed, and the outlet would get hot even when nothing was plugged in. The maintenance guy said that he hates these apartments and that the wiring is all installed wrong. You can smell what your neighbors cook through your vents. The appliances are all yellow and the lighting is a dingy yellow too. Also, my bathroom sink leaks under my cabinet and the drawers had shaving clippings from the previous tenants. We always had wasps flying around our balcony. I only found three roaches ever, but I hear that other units have more serious problems. Our neighbors apparently had a great sound system and Cobblestone apparently has crappy walls. There were cops in the complex every week, usually in the middle or back of the complex. The people in the office were always really friendly to me, but I always paid my rent early too. Their prices are about the same as everyone else's in Tulsa, so there's really no advantage to living here except the location, which is why I moved there. I won't tell you not to move in there, but I'm glad I'm leaving.
