It was virtually impossible to get maintainace to come and fix anything. It took multiple phone calls and a few trips to the office usually. The rent kept climbing for the current residents, while people moving in got huge discounts.

I couldn't sleep half the time because my neighbor played rap music loudly all day and night. Can't walk on the grass because no one can be bothered to clean up after their dogs. They had a bad habit of cashing my rent check and then "forgetting" that they had and sending me an eviction letter.

And as for my neighbors, they started out decently enough, but towards the end it was bad. Loud music, screaming at each other outside, stuff like that. It was never quiet. They would play their music outside as loudly as they could. There was never any peace and quiet there.

The apartments were falling apart. The one you end up in looks NOTHING like the ones you see on the tour. I started having a problem with termites at one point and maintance never bothered to come by about that. There's "decorative" unfinished wood around the base of the rooms and I'm pretty sure this is how all the spiders got in. I ended up in the hospital from a bite from one of them. I also found spiders climbing up through the drain in the bathtub pretty often.

And when you move out they will make up charges to put on the bill. Lots of charges.
