After my one-year stay here, I recommend Coppermill. For me, it's a great "home base" between Minshall Park, BOK, the grocery store, gas station, Borders ... works for me. The residential "loop" just south of the apts. is perfect for running in the daytime. It's like 1.5 mi. i think. I keep my eye out, but I'm not really concerned about crime affecting my family or my property. Like most apts. in the complex, my car is never more than 25 paces from my doorstep. Maintenance has never taken more than 24 hours to fix anything that needed fixing. I had a faucet replaced, light fixtures changed, coolant added to the AC ... I think that's it. I had two "sour" experiences, but both were remedied when I brought them to their attention: (1) My first apt. there had a serious bug problem. To Coppermill's credit, they moved me across the complex to another place that had just been totally redone. (2) I had my entire kitchen/bathroom emptied for 3-4 weeks waiting for the apt. to do a maintenance spray. When I told the management about my trouble, I was reimbursed one-half month's rent. not bad. I don't really take advantage of the options here like my neighbors do -- gym, pool, vball, movie rental ... but i've used the laundry facility. It's big and nice. They were just redoing it when i moved in last year--tile floors and automated machines, so you can swipe a pre-paid card rather than carrying cash. it's handy. Probably my favorite thing is the mailbox location; it's right outside your door, not off at the clubhouse or some corner of the parking lot. Pros and Cons like every place, but for me, it's really working out perfectly.
