My, now husband, moved into these apartments back in November with a roommate, and everything seemed fine. I moved in about March and we lived there peacefully for a while. Our roommate started some drama about a month after that and moved out leaving us to try and fend for ourselves. The office demanded that I be put on the lease since I was going to be living there.
After a few more months, new neighbors moved in downstairs and brought roaches with them. We were under the impression that we were to take care of the problem until the monthly maintenance rolled around. It soon did and we were provided with a letter stating that they were going to be spraying and to provide the office with a key or leave our door unlocked so they could get in. Well, we only had one key so we left the door unlocked. We came home later that day to find that a letter had been posted stating that they were unable to get into our apartment to spray. Once again, under the understanding, we continued to deal with the problem, however now, highly irritated. The problem only got worse, and when they came back to spray, on a day when I was home, the Manager, Lori, blamed us for the problem! We told her that it was not our problem she should've sprayed the first time. She told us that they were unable to gain access to our place and we called her on her crap. She scoffed at us and said that they were not expected to check every apt. to see if it was unlocked. Still a crock of it, but we let it go.
Soon after that, she called us to the office to tell us that we were being evicted. For...' Yup, she claimed that we were the cause of the bugs. She said that we had until a certain date to turn in our keys. Now, my uncle is a lawyer, and we need the court ordered letter before we can truely be evicted. I told her that once we see the letter then we'll talk. Nothing was done for about another month and we were now only looking at a few more weeks before the lease was up anyway, and she TOOK us to court over it. She's dumb, but obviously won. Now all the money we owe for court costs was turned over to a collector. We have paid them over $1000 for the costs and the collector says they have no record of it! Where did it all go then'!
All I'm going to say is that you're always going to have an experience with crap at an apartment. Some people have a decent experience where some do not. I had a bad one. You are free to make you're own choice, but my opinion is that there are better places out there.

I am SO glad that they are keeping the problems out of our community. I have nothing but mad respect for the job that the office has done to keep the trouble makers out. A few slip in, but they don't stay long! (living there but not on a lease, Starting drama,) Uncle is a lawyer and you STILL got kicked out?!?! I smell a rat here.

After reading these reviews, I will never move into Coppermill! I like privacy! It seems they are rude and in your buisness at all times. If I'm paying for the apt, that's MY space,What goes on there and who visits or stays for a while is nobody's buisness but my own! Unless I'm hurting or disturbing someone else! Seem like they have nothing better to do than bother people for stupid stuff!
