I am relocating from another city and i was put on a waiting list. I was told that my security dep was refundable and that the app fee was not. Which is typical. I ended up not moving in and requested my "refundable" deposit back. I was told that it was not refundable and that i was assigned to an apt already that was still being occupied! Now i am out the $150 that was refundable and still no apt! The staff members first of all LIED! and then when I asked them to show me or explain how they could justify she was very rude, hateful, and talk to me like i was stupid. I would never move in there after the treatment i recieved from the staff. (NOTE!: the "staff" member i dealt with was the manager BETH. She herself was the one that told me it was refundable. I had someone with me when she said it so i know i did not misunderstand!)

Hey moron I know for a fact that Beth wouldnt say that your deposit was refundable. i live at creekwood and think that beth is a SWEET HEART!!!! she will work with you on anything, the only reason your deposit wasn't refundable is because you werent denied you cancelled after 24 hours of putting down your deposit so next time pay attention to what you are doing and stuff like this won't happen genious!!!

I know for a reason that deposit are made so they can deduct it to the damages you made to your apartment. I think you are entitled to your deposit since you didn't even live here. You can file a complaint and I know you will win.

I agree with janie4545... Deposits are usually only refundable if you are denied... but it's not refundable if you cancel. It's like this almost EVERYWHERE... so pay better attention next time...
