Okay, but not great

I lived here for 9 months when I first moved to Tulsa. I would have signed a 12 month lease, but they informed me my lease could not end at the end of the year. Parking is only really good if you pay the extra to get a garage AND get lucky enough to have the garage close. Otherwise, if you're in an apartment near the pool or the center drive, forget about parking if you come in very late. You best bet is to live on the opposite end from the office. I came back, just because I didn't have enough time to find another apartment. Now, at Christmas time, the staff has developed a habit of working whatever hours they feel like. Usually, that means they're closed by 5.30, and they look at you like you're rude if you try to retrieve a package between 5.30 and 6. (Keep in mind the posted hours don't have the office closed until 6.) It makes it a huge disadvantage if you're expecting an important package. Maintanence is the one area they've excelled at; I will give them that. Fast and usually fixed quickly. However, they will not contact you with a problem that might affect your apartment, such as when the apartment next door flooded out, and I was out of town. I came back to find my bathroom and closet covered in water, a problem they obviously knew about, since there was carpet from another apartment in the breezeway. They're TERRIBLE about communicating anything important, but they will send you an newsletter every month that says nothing. And don't expect them to enforce "no parking" zones. People are constantly parking right in front of the breezeway to my apartment, but the complex won't do anything about it. The gates, either front or back, are usually broken, so you don't really need to worry about gate codes. So, be really careful at night, as the lighting outside is pretty ridiculous. If you're thinking about walking to the mailbox (by the office) to check mail, you best take a flashlight. odusyNYCcZ7yL3Bj5JtG
