I lived at Deerfield for two year in that time frame management changed 3 times. After our first year things started going down hill. We had a total of 3 water leaks in our apartment, The sewer backed up 3 times in two years, Bad neighbors that were loud and disrespectful, and then there were bugs. Roaches were bad. Everytime we told them we had them they said they were coming out to eat the poison. My thought after 5 months and still having major problems with cockroaches try a different technique. The parking is real bad. The Parking Lots are hardly lit. If you have to go out at night then you will not find a space near your apartment. The staff in the office is a mix. Some were very helpful, others treat there tenants like they are beneath them and that your concern was not their problem. Maintenance staff was excellent!!! I wished that I had not stayed as long as I did. I moved here from California almost 3 years ago and I lived in Deerfield for 2 and 1/2 years. I would never go back there again and I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone I cared about. They are also the only place that i have ever heard of that makes you pay a pet deposit and pet rent. I have not found one other apartment complex in tuls that makes you pay pet rent. I had to explain it to everyone I spoke with.

I have heard of pet rent and deposits, but I think pet rent is redicilous! The tenant is already paying for the animal's food and upkeep, even the cheapest pets are hundreds of dollars a year! It makes having an animal rescue job and an apartment impossible!
