These people are just hostile, it's really not that bad

Signing the lease they told us to make sure our car doors were locked 24/7 and to keep the apt door closed and locked, and we do and so far that's worked for us.
Our neighbors all keep to themselves, there hasn't been any loud music late at night or barking dogs or crying kids.
Parking does suck, give yourself an extra couple of minutes to manuever the parking lot, but besides that it's a pretty alright place to live.
Our first day we called maintenance and they were here in minutes (nothing was broken, we couldn't figure out why the stove wasn't working but the breaker had just been turned off).
In the office, Juanita is really sweet, so is Barbie.
One of the ladies has no sense of humor, so don't waste your time.
If you need a cheap place to live, this place will do fine.
From what I've seen it's best if you can get an apartment closer to 71st instead of way in back, some corner units have fireplaces, and there are washer/dryer connections in some downstairs units.
They allow pets under 20 lbs, but I don't think they're very strict, I've seem some dogs around 30.
Overall a pretty decent place to live.
